Our natural pomegranate wines are made from locally-sourced fruits of the “Guloyusha” variety known for its distinct sweetness. The fresh pomegranates are squeezed at the peak of their ripeness and aged in barrels for a minimum of 12 months. Dubbed the “King of Fruits” in Azerbaijan, the fruit is a superfood packed with antioxidants and vitamins. In fact, the locals celebrate its traditional uses and symbolic meaning in the annual festival of Nar Bayrami!

Region: Goychay, Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is one of the most ancient and brilliant winemaking regions in the world. The land’s perfect combination of soils and climate make it one of the few places where pomegranates trees can be cultivated. We hope you enjoy the taste of the land in this bottle!

Taste notes: Medium-bodied, distinct sweetness & vibrant acidity. Bursting with ripeness of wild red berries, resulting in a layered, fresh finish.
